noun: community; plural noun: communities
- a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.
Community is a big part of who we are at Bridge To Thrive. Our mission in connecting people to the heart of Christ by renewing relationships, restoring hope, and revitalizing faith is centered in community. In community we are able to engage, encourage, and empower each other to seek a life of purpose through Jesus Christ.
Breaking Down Walls To Build Bridges
The spirit of community is the life blood of Bridge To Thrive and our desire is to radiate the love of Jesus outward towards our community. Isn't that what most Christ followers want? To pour out the love of Jesus no matter their 'walls'. The 'walls' being denomination, race, age, etc.
Bridge To Thrive wants to break down those 'walls' that the enemy has built to divide us and replace them with 'bridges' that connect our community. Lets face it, the enemy wants those 'walls', wants us divided. Divided keeps us in one place, unable to let the Holy Spirit move through our city. BUT, break down those 'walls' and come together as one Body of Christ...together, we could change our city!
A New Way To Engage, Encourage and Empower
Circles engage others to discover who God is; encourage others to discover who they are; and empower others on what they are made to do.Gathering with people offers accountability which is critical for spiritual growth.
We are partnering with IF:Table to equip community members to create an experience where people can come together to have spiritual conversations with those in their life who might not know Jesus.
